Originally from Buenos Aires, the tango has taken root in Cape Town and is set to go from strength to strength. Both cities share great beauty, a rich cultural history, vibrant people and the tango! Cape Tango provides opportunities for tango lovers in Cape Town to dance, broaden their musical horizons, interact with each other and to grow this wonderful art form.

If you have not tried Argentine Tango yet it is time to start! Join the community by taking beginner classes and socialising at milongas. You will forget about "having two left feet" and learn the grace of the dance. If you would like to develop your Tango further come to our intermediate classes! Combinations and variations, playing with rhythms, using the space, elegance and much more. Our passion lies in organising socials (milongas and salons) for tango lovers. We make sure that there is always great tango music, a beautiful and comfortable space to dance, a wonderful ambience and lots of fun!
